After years as a producer and executive producer in local TV news, I stepped away from the corporate world to launch my own company. My experience and reputation paved the way for successful working relationships with all the major TV networks and top production and public relations companies.

As a freelance producer and writer I've covered countless high-profile news stories. Located in the Pacific Northwest, I was in the perfect spot to cover Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's historic campaign, Mount St. Helen's eruptions, and the trapped Utah miners. I produced elements in the coverage of football star Pat Tillman's death in Afghanistan, Scott Peterson's murder trial, and the arrest of a JonBenet Ramsey murder suspect. I've also contributed to longer format programs such as Dateline NBC, including the report on the stripper turned soccer mom convicted of murder and the University of Washington student arrested for murder in Italy.

On the corporate side, it's about effectively delivering your message; whether to consumers or company employees. I oversaw video shoots for an Xbox 360 holiday promotion, an in-house communication between Boeing and Goodrich, an internal promotional video for T-Mobile, and a video news release for a natural pet food company during the melamine contamination.

Your satellite media tour deserves a veteran from the control room. I know first hand the pressure producers face getting their shows on the air and managing their time. I understand how to work around their dropped live shots and breaking news. Among others, I worked with Apprentice winner Kendra Todd on a Lowe's home energy saving SMT and Flavor Flav during a tour to promote his TV show "Under One Roof".

I field produced segments for the National Association of Home Builders for its Assembly Required series, ESPN's Baseball Tonight "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" competition, the Outdoor Life Network on Profiles in Survival, and G4 on the history of Nintendo. I also wrote and produced a teller training video for M&I Wauwatosa State Bank.

Before striking out on my own, I produced at two of the top TV stations in Seattle, Denver, Milwaukee and Green Bay, Wisconsin. I planned and produced coverage of 9/11 in New York in 2001 and 2002; the Green River Killer's arrest and sentencing; the Navy pilots' return from China to NAS Whidbey Island, Washington; the DC Sniper's Tacoma, Washington connection; and the USS Lincoln's homecoming to Everett, Washington after the longest deployment since the 1970s. As an executive producer in Seattle I supervised, edited, and wrote investigative, consumer and medical reports.

I graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
